I once jumped out of a perfectly good airplane at 14,000 feet. It feels about that time to do it again.
The first time was spontaneous and the experience was shared with some of the most chill, genuine friends I've had the pleasure of partying with. It was 2007 and was one of the most glorious summers I spent in the Outer Banks. The music choice for the video...ehh...a little questionable. But, I guess legit to have. Though can we pause a moment and be thankful for how far we've come in video quality. Yikes!
If you haven't gone skydiving, give it a go. I always thought the pull back of the parachute would bother me - definitely unlike anything you're expecting. Your feet just swing underneath you. It's amazingly gentle. The flight up was the "worst" part, if there was one. Just when I thought I was at the top and ready to jump, the guy literally was just opening the door to get some "fresh air". I had another 7,000 feet to climb. It was a really hot day, but we were told the air up there would be freezing. It was. Signing a death waiver was also interesting. My mother literally made the 4 of us kids take a group picture before I left. If she really thought I wasn't coming back, is that all she really needed - one last picture? I turn into her more everyday. Always needing one more photo. I went, I came back alive, and ready to do it again. It's time.
